👏 FANTASTIC FUNDING NEWS! More than £58million of #NationalLottery funding has just been shared between 1,600 projects in England and FREEDOM 2 is one of them! This money raised by National Lottery players will support community–led projects, including those run for or by young people, empowering them to take the lead on things that are important to them and their communities. Our First Art Exhibition…(and you’re invited!)

We are so excited to be hosting our first Art Exhibition at Valentines Mansion on Tuesday July 16th at 6pm to 9pm. This is in conjunction with the part funding that we received from Redbridge Council Art Council to run 3 of our FREEDOM 2 Create programmes in Redbridge Secondary Schools. FREEDOM 2 Create – Our new art programme!

FREEDOM 2 Create is a 7 week art programme that we run in Secondary Schools throughout East London. It uses a variety of art mediums, focusing on important topics, such as identity and empowerment. Due to its success, we wanted the programme to have its very own logo, so here it is! Ecclesiastical: ‘Movement for Good’ initiative

Some more good news! We have been selected as one of the charities by Ecclesiastical to receive £1,000 from their ‘Movement for Good’ initiative. We will be using the donation to fund our art programme, FREEDOM 2 Create, ensuring that more girls get an opportunity to attend this programme and develop their artistic skills. Working with Redbridge Secondary Schools

We are pleased to announce that we have been successful in our application for part funding from Redbridge Arts Council. This grant will allow us to run 3 FREEDOM 2 Create programmes with groups in Redbridge Secondary Schools and to hold an exhibition in July 2019 to showcase the beneficiaries art work.
