Volunteer Evening FREEDOM 2 has a fantastic team of volunteers, but we are wanting more of you to join us! No previous experience working with teenage girls is needed, as training will be given, but you must be passionate about wanting to support girls in developing healthy self esteem and encouraging them to reach their potential (FEMALES ONLY due to the nature of our work). There are various roles that you can undertake as a volunteer, from fundraising to being a co facilitator in one of our programmes that we run with the girls.       On Friday 28th September, we are hosting a music night fundraiser at Kikirocs, South Woodford. The night is to raise funds for our new 6 week art programme, 'FREEDOM 2 Create', which will be launched in October 2018. Art Auction: On the night there will also be an art auction, celebrating the work of local artists. Tickets will be £10. 1178780 could be any number, but for FREEDOM 2 this marks a new season. On Thursday 14thJune 2018 FREEDOM 2 was registered as a charity. FREEDOM 2 had been running as a limited company in London since January 2017, but the intention had always been to be established as a charity. This doesn’t mean that FREEDOM 2 will be changing the work that they are doing, but hopefully people will recognise that the work that we are doing is to benefit others and being a charity will obviously open up more funding opportunities. Other updates: Plans are under way to launch our new art programme that we will be running called FREEDOM 2 Create. This will be a 6 week programme in addition to our 8 week self-development programme, FREEDOM 2 Girls.…

 On Thursday 15th June, Travelling Trends hosted a fashion show to raise money for FREEDOM 2. After watching the fashion show, there was opportunity to browse and shop and there were lots of bargains to be had! Thank you to everyone who came and for the ongoing support of FREEDOM 2’s work.
